Shale is a weathered rock with a large reserve in nature. The hardness of shale is generally 1.5-3 hardness coefficient. If the structure is relatively dense, its Puerto Rico hardness coefficient can reach 4-5, and some hard shales have higher hardness. Therefore, in terms of sand production, shale can fully meet the demand for construction sand. After shale is mined, it can be crushed by jaw crusher, cone crusher, sand making machine and other stone crushing equipment, and processed into light aggregate skeleton material, powder or machine-made sand, which can be used in construction projects, etc.

The process of the shale crushing production line we designed is as follows:

Primary crushing stage:

Materials smaller than 150mm do not need to be crushed and fall directly onto the belt into the primary stockpile; materials larger than 150mm are crushed by a jaw crusher (discharge port 150mm), and the crushed materials enter the primary stockpile.

Secondary crushing stage:

The coarsely crushed stone reaches the secondary crusher and is crushed by a cone crusher. Stones larger than 31.5mm enter the secondary crusher for crushing, and materials smaller than 31.5mm are screened into three specifications: 0-5mm, 5-13mm, and 13-31.5mm.

Sand making and screening:

The raw materials for sand making are mainly 0-5mm, 5-13mm, and part of 13-31.5mm mixed materials, which enter the sand making machine for crushing and sand making, and are transported by belts into the three-layer vibrating screen. Materials larger than 5mm return to the sand making machine for further crushing (can also be sold as finely processed stones), and the remaining materials are divided into 3-5mm and less than 3mm materials.
