The main component of limestone is calcium carbonate (CaCO3), with a Mohs hardness of 3. After limestone is mined , it is crushed to form limestone particles, namely aggregates and sand. The limestone aggregate crusher plant is a production line for aggregate and artificial sand making plant. It has the characteristics of high degree of automation, low operating cost, and high production efficiency. It has been widely used in cement, building materials, water conservancy and other industries.

 

Limestone crushing plant process

The limestone aggregate production line is divided into three stages: coarse crushing, medium and fine crushing, and screening.

The first stage: coarse crushing
The limestone material blasted from the mountain is evenly fed by a vibrating feeder through a silo and transported to a jaw crusher for coarse crushing.

 

The second stage: medium and fine crushing
The coarsely crushed material is screened by a vibrating screen and transported by a belt conveyor to an impact crusher for medium and fine crushing.

 

The third stage: screening
The medium and fine crushed stones are conveyed to the vibrating screen through a belt conveyor to screen out stones of different specifications. The stones that meet the customer's particle size requirements are conveyed to the finished product pile through a belt conveyor, and the stones larger than the upper screen size are returned to the impact crusher through a belt conveyor for re-crushing, forming a closed loop.

Limestone sand production plant process

The limestone sand making process is divided into four stages: coarse crushing, medium and fine crushing, sand making, and screening.

The third stage: sand making
The stones larger than the second-layer screen size after the medium crushing are transported to the sand making machine through a belt conveyor for fine crushing and shaping.

 

The fourth stage: screening
The finely crushed and shaped materials are then screened through a circular vibrating screen for coarse sand, medium sand, fine sand and other specifications.

 

Note: For those with strict requirements on the powder content of sand, a sand washing machine can be added after the fine sand. The sewage discharged by the sand washing machine can be recycled through the fine sand recovery device, which can reduce environmental pollution on the one hand and increase the sand production on the other hand.

Mobile limestone crushing and screening plant

A complete mobile crushing production line generally includes a mobile jaw crusher plant and a mobile impact crusher plant

 

Mobile jaw crusher plant

According to the soil content of the limestone, soil and stone can be separated first, and then the limestone material is directly sent to the main processing equipment jaw crusher by the vibrating feeder on the mobile jaw crusher station for primary crushing; after being crushed by the mobile jaw crusher, the limestone particle size becomes smaller and is sent to the mobile impact crusher by the belt conveyor for re-crushing;

 

Mobile impact crusher plant

The mobile impact crushing station includes an impact crusher and a vibrating screen. After the limestone material is crushed by the impact crusher for the second time, the limestone pebbles discharged from the impact crusher outlet are screened by the vibrating screen on the mobile impact crusher, which can be screened into different aggregate specifications according to demand, such as 0-5mm sand, 5-20mm crushed stone, and 20-30mm coarse aggregate.

The mobile crushing production line occupies a small area and is easy to walk. The production line can be directly placed near the material pile, which can save a lot of transportation costs. The two machines form a complete production line. Feeding, crushing, screening, etc. can be completed in one go. The whole process can be controlled by a centralized control system to detect production data. Intelligence and automation run through the entire production process. At the same time, the mobile crushing production line supports two power modes: power supply and diesel power generation, which is more convenient and faster.
