Process for river pebble crushing plant

Based on the properties of river pebbles and the actual market situation, taking into account the specific needs of customers and cost budget control, Baichy Machinery has developed a set of simple and reasonable river pebble crushing production plant. The production line is mainly composed of jaw crushers, cone crushers, VSI sand making machines, vibrating feeders, circular vibrating screens, conveyors and other equipment. The specific process is as follows:

 

1. Coarse crushing

Because the raw river pebbles are relatively large in size, they need to be crushed first. This requires a vibrating feeder to evenly feed the raw river pebbles into the jaw crusher for the first crushing operation. This process is called coarse crushing. The equipment used for coarse crushing is generally a jaw crusher. The size of the jaw crusher is selected according to the output.

 

2. Secondary crushing

The river pebbles crushed by the jaw crusher are only coarsely crushed, and the particle shape cannot meet the customer's construction requirements. A cone crusher is needed for another crushing. The conveyor evenly feeds the river pebbles crushed by the jaw crusher into the cone crusher for secondary crushing. If the finished material is used for purposes such as railway slag filling, which do not require high particle shape, then the particle shape after secondary crushing can meet the requirements. If it is used for purposes such as highways, which require high particle shape, it needs to be finely crushed.

 

3.Tertiary crushing

Tertiary crushing (fine crushing stage) uses VSI sand making machine. Currently, VSI sand making machine is widely used in the market. It is used to finely crush the stone materials crushed by secondary crushing to meet the particle shape requirements. In the river pebble production line, fine crushing is generally used.

 

4. Screening

The river pebble materials finely crushed by VSI sand making machine are screened by circular vibrating screen to screen out sand and gravel aggregates that meet the construction requirements. If they do not meet the requirements, they are transported to the cone crusher by conveyor and circulated until they meet the requirements.

 

5. Stacking

The screened river pebbles that meet the requirements are sent to the finished product pile by conveyor for collection, thus completing the crushing of river pebbles.
