Aggregate production plant includes feeding system, crushing system and screening system. A good sand and gravel aggregate production process design must fully consider the material properties, process rationality, reliability, priority, economy and mutual matching. Aggregate is a granular material that acts as a skeleton and filler in concrete and mortar. It is divided into coarse aggregate and fine aggregate. Coarse aggregate is crushed stone or gravel, which constitutes the skeleton of concrete. Fine aggregate is sand, which fills the gaps between coarse aggregate. The diameter of aggregate particles is between 0.16 and 5 mm. Natural sand is usually used. The diameter of coarse aggregate particles is greater than 5 mm. Commonly used are crushed stone and pebbles.
Let’s take limestone aggregates production plant for example.
Using jaw crusher PE750*1060 as primary crushing, the maximum feed size can reach 630mm. After the primary crushing, the particle size of the material can be basically controlled within 130mm, preparing for the secondary crushing.
The purpose of choosing PE750*1060 jaw crusher is to ensure the production capacity requirement of 200TPH, and at the same time to increase the range of feed particle size.
Since the raw material is limestone and the main purpose is concrete batching and mixing plant, the crushing equipment needs to consider the economic type. The use of PF1214 impact crusher can obtain good stone particle shape, and a certain proportion of machine-made sand can also be obtained.
In this project, our company selected the three-chamber impact crusher PF1214. Two units in parallel can achieve a production capacity of 200~230 tons per hour. After removing a part of the 0~5mm machine-made sand, the stone production capacity can ensure a production capacity of 200TPH.
In conventional configuration, the secondary crusher can also use one PF1315 impact crusher. However, the production capacity of a single PF1315 impact crusher is usually difficult to meet the requirements of 200TPH. In addition, the impact cavity of the PF1315 impact crusher is larger, and the particle size range of the discharge is slightly inferior to that of the impact crusher PF1214. Therefore, in the 200TPH limestone production line, our company usually configures two three-cavity impact crushers PF1214, which have the best operating performance.
According to the basic configuration principle, two sets circular vibrating screen 4YK1860 models are selected to screen the materials discharged from the two impact crushers to complete the screening task.
