Granite is an igneous rock, which means it formed from magma, or melted rock. It forms deep inside the Earth under a mountain or volcano when melted rock cools or crystallizes into solid rock. Granite topography is typically well developed in many parts of Zimbabwe. Locals sets up granite crushing plant to produce high quality granite aggregates and and for highway road, building industry and so on.

This granite crushing plant is a complete set of stone crushing equipment that our company entered the Zimbabwe market earlier. The finished products after crushing are mainly supplied to highway construction materials. The finished product specifications are divided into four types: 0-5mm, 5-16mm, 16-20mm, and 20-26.5mm. The designed capacity is: 80-100 tons/hour.

Granite crushing production line process

Design of granite crusher plant: raw materials - vibrating feeder - jaw crusher - cone crusher - vibrating screen - finished product

The granite rock is first evenly fed into the jaw crusher by a vibrating feeder for coarse crushing, and then fed into the cone crusher for secondary crushing. If the finished product is small particles such as stone, the number of layers of the vibrating screen is configured according to the size of the required stone. SuIf two finished stones are required, then two layers of vibrating screens can be configured. If users want to make sand, one set sand making machine crusher could be added to get 0-5mm sand and then the mud and some impurities in the sand can be cleaned by the sand washing machine to obtain clean sand and gravel.

Characteristics of granite crushing production line:

1.The crushing ratio of the supporting equipment of the granite crushing plant is generally 30-40, and the maximum can reach more than 150. Therefore, medium and fine crushing or coarse, medium and fine crushing can be completed at one time, reducing the number of crushing stages and simplifying the production process.

2.The granite production line designed by Baichy has high automation, high crushing rate, low operating cost, energy saving and environmental protection. The products have uniform particle size, good particle shape and reasonable grading.

People Also Frequently Asked For - FAQ

Is granite hard to crush?

Although it can be damaged by extreme forces, granite countertops are generally resistant to breaking and chipping, as well as heat and cold. Granite is an excellent choice if you want a strong and easy-to-care-for material that can handle heavy use.

How to crush granite?

Soft rocks such as sandstone can easily break down using an excavator with an attached hydraulic breaker. In contrast, harder rocks such as granite, trap rock, and basalt need more crushing power; hence, a stone crusher machine such as a jaw crusher will be more suitable for crushing down the rocks.

What is the best crusher for granite?

Jaw and cone crushers use compression to squeeze rock between two surfaces until it shatters. These crushers generate an enormous amount of power and are able to crush a variety of materials including hard abrasive stone like granite.
