VSI sand making machine has two functions: sand production and stone shaping, which are realized through different working methods of rock-to-rock and rock-to-iron. What is the different working principle?


1.Rock-to-rock: material feeding at center&sides

The material falls into the feed hopper, falls through the annular hole, and is divided into two streams by the material distribution plate. One stream enters the high-speed rotating wheel through the material distribution plate, and the other falls from around the material distribution plate. The material entering the throwing wheel is rapidly accelerated in the throwing wheel, and its acceleration can reach dozens of times the acceleration of gravity, and is then thrown out of the throwing wheel at high speed. It is first impacted and broken by another part of the material falling freely around the distributor, and then Together they impact the vortex lining in the vortex chamber, are rebounded by the material lining, impact obliquely upward to the top of the vortex chamber, change their direction of movement, deflect downward, and collide with the material emitted from the impeller flow channel to form a continuous material curtain. In this way, the materials will be hit, rubbed, grinded and crushed for two or more times in the eddy current crushing cavity. The crushed materials are discharged from the lower discharge port.

 

Application:

Sand making machine VSI9526 using Rock-to-rock method is suitable for crushing medium-hard and above abrasive materials, such as basalt. During the crushing process, the material ejected from the throwing wheel impacts the material lining without direct contact with the metal components of the equipment, reducing iron consumption and thus reducing maintenance time.

 

Features:

2.Rock-to-iron: material feeding at center

The basic working principle is the same as the "stone on stone" of center feeding accompanied by waterfall blanking. The material falls into the feed hopper, enters the high-speed rotating wheel through the central feeding hole, is rapidly accelerated in the wheel, and its acceleration can reach dozens of times the acceleration of gravity, and then is ejected from the wheel at high speed, first free after rebounding The other part of the falling material impacts, and then hits the material lining (rock against rock) or impact block (rock against iron) together, and is rebounded obliquely upward to the top of the vortex chamber, and then changes its direction of movement and deflects downward. Application:

Rock-to-iron is suitable for crushing medium-hard and less abrasive materials, such as limestone.

 

Features:

The crushing efficiency is higher under the rock-to-iron working condition, the wear cost of the peripheral guard plate is also high, and the finished product has a slightly worse grain shape, but the output is higher.
