Granite crushing process flow

Granite is fed into a jaw crusher through a vibrating feeder. After being roughly crushed by jaw crusher, it is then put into a cone crusher for secondary crushing. After the intermediate crushing is completed, it is put into a sand making machine for the final fine crushing stage. The sand making machine can process the material into finished products with a fineness of 0-5mm to meet different user needs. The next stage is screening, and the vibrating screen uses strong vibration force to finally screen the material into different specifications. To get high quality sand, the sand will be sent to spiral sand washing machine to remove impurity.

People Also Frequently Asked For - FAQ

What is the difference between a hammer mill and a cone crusher?

Hammermills and impact crushers use an impact force while jaw crushers and cone crushers use a compression force. As one of the earliest types of crushing machines to exist, the hammermill has evolved over time to become a very versatile piece of equipment.

How do you crush granite?

Granite can be crushed using mechanical pressure, such as a jaw crusher, cone crusher, or impact crusher. These machines use a series of jaws or cones to apply pressure to the material and break it down into smaller pieces.

Is granite tougher than concrete?

Most stone is stronger than unreinforced concrete, especially the fully metamorphized rocks such as granite and quartz.
