When adjusting the size of the discharge port of an impact crusher, the tools needed mainly include measuring tools, fastening tools, lifting tools, etc. The following is a detailed introduction:

1.Measuring tools

1-1. Caliper: used to accurately measure the size of the discharge port. Common ones include vernier calipers, digital calipers, etc., which can accurately measure the width, height and other parameters of the discharge port, so as to determine whether the required size is reached during the adjustment process.
1-2. Steel tape measure: If the size of the discharge port is large, the steel tape measure can be used to roughly measure the length or circumference of the discharge port, and the auxiliary caliper can be used for comprehensive size measurement.

2.Fastening tools

2-1. Wrench: including adjustable wrenches, plum wrenches, socket wrenches, etc., used to loosen and tighten bolts, nuts and other connectors related to the adjustment of the discharge port. Wrenches of different specifications can be selected according to the size and position of the bolts.
2-2. Torque wrench: When tightening the bolts, in order to ensure that the bolts reach the specified tightening torque, a torque wrench is needed to accurately control the tightening force to prevent the stability of the discharge port and the normal operation of the equipment from being affected by overtightening or over-loosening of the bolts.

3.Lifting tools

3-1. Jack: For some impact crushers with hydraulically adjusted discharge ports, a jack may be needed to lift the relevant components during maintenance or adjustment to adjust the discharge port size or replace the components. Hydraulic jacks have the advantages of large load capacity and easy operation.

3-2. Hand chain hoist: When it is necessary to move or lift heavier crusher components, the hand chain hoist can be used to assist in operation and facilitate the adjustment of the position of the discharge port components. It has the characteristics of compact structure, easy to carry, and simple operation.

4.Other tools

4-1. Crowbar: When adjusting the wedge or other discharge port adjustment components, the crowbar can be used to pry the components to move them to the appropriate position. The length and thickness of the crowbar can be selected according to actual needs.

4-2. Hammer: During the adjustment process, you may need to use a hammer to gently tap certain parts to install them in place or adjust them to the appropriate position. A rubber hammer or a copper hammer can avoid damage to the parts, while an iron hammer is suitable for some situations where a larger striking force is required.

4-3. Lubricating tools: such as grease guns, after adjusting the size of the discharge port, the relevant moving parts and connecting parts need to be lubricated to reduce friction and wear and ensure the normal operation of the equipment. Grease guns can accurately inject grease into the parts that need lubrication.
